How is Bridging Hearts different from other online social networks?
At Bridging Hearts, all members have learning differences. Potential members are personally met with to find social opportunities and activities where members can meet in person. Bridging Hearts is a social community, not a dating service. We offer a members-only interactive website to provide a safe experience.
Why do I need to be meet in person?
Interviews are conducted in person or over video conferencing as a part of our screening process.
What are expectations for online and event behavior?
All members sign ‘Rules of Conduct’ upon joining Bridging Hearts.
How often are events scheduled?
We schedule a Bridging Hearts in-person event at least once per month along with many video conferencing opportunities. In addition, members often plan activities independently through our website.
What types of activities will be available?
We offer a variety of events that include many different interests. We have a video conferencing series where we discuss issues important to our members. In-person activities include bowling, theme parties, theatre and sporting events, volunteering activities, hiking, bonfires, boat cruises, dances, sleigh rides and much more!
